For me it's the originality, style and cool factor, Citroen had the balls to produce something completely different and it's one of 'those' cars which is so outlandish and unique that it beats many cars from the same era, even from more exotic brands. Other examples of 'those' types of cars would be the Alfa Romeo SZ or the Lancia Stratos (obviously much more pricier):What's the appeal of these exactly? not saying it isn't cool.
Once did some work on a guys house fitting a compressor for his car ramp inside his garage. Amongst the Wraith, Slr Mclarren 722 and countless other nice cars he had one of these. He showed us around and was most excited about a Citroen exactly like this.
