It looks high but the angle of the photo is terrible. The turbo split rims don't help it.

Interesting thing, it should have purple seat faces too but you can't see those from that angle.

It was brought into the uk in 97, probs for about £25k...

Yep, we had a black cab driver who owned one along with a post man, both cars bought at the time for around the £20 - 25k Mark.

The black cab driver customer let me have the car for a week.

I recon its a real oddball and certainly not a 250k car

Not by any stretch

Some very odd things going on there

However i live and learn as i have seen 3.8 on an RS reg doc as i still kick myself for not buying the rhd 993rs

The only 964 I know that's a 3.8 is the last of the Turbo 2.

They did also use the 3.8 for the rs in NA

Looks like its very rare and at the end which then became the 993 rs which was a 3.8 which stayed untill the very recent 4.0rs

Most of my RS knowledge is 993's and newer though i have driven a fair few 964rs in my old wheeltorque days

I made a hash of my comments on that amythyst rs .... however wheels rideheight and offset do also look odd but the vin wont lie

I saw a white Sierra RS Cosworth yesterday, it looked absolutely mint!! It had an RS500 lower rear boot spoiler in it too in white. I had to wait to see the reg in case it was a fake, nope proper D reg

I also saw the red 90 spec Escort RS Turbo on Azev A's I saw the other week, parked up with the bonnet up (just like in the olden days!)

I was behind an 11 reg 6.2 E63 AMG wagon on Friday, lovely rare bus! And I saw a white Nissan GTR yesterday, in Rainham of all places, so deffo stolen! lol!!

I think Renault Twizy's are wicked!
I saw a highly modified Nissan GT-R on Sunday, the rear wing was massive! It's green with cf bonnet etc, apparently done by kream developments blud.
This one (now with a huge wing etc)

Couldn’t get a pic cos it was driving in the opposite direction.

Saw an XJ220 recently! I was driving on a long sweeping A road towards Milton Keynes and saw it coming up behind me fast. Naturally I dropped it a few gears as I wanted a bit of a play with it just for the jokes (obviously it was going to demolish me anyway!) He went for the overtake but a car started coming the other way so he had to tuck in behind me again.
About a mile later we came up to a dual carriage way, where I booted it again off the roundabout. He then floored it in the outside lane and my god what a sight and noise! The XJ220 has an amazing amount of road presence and I feel they don't get the recognition they deserve.

Spotted a red lotus Esprit today, late model s4s or V8 with the big wing on the back. I've always been a fan of the Esprit.
Also spotted a new civic type R in white. Shame they are so good to drive but so bad to look at.

Not sure if it was in this thread about the Polo Harlequin being spotted, but I did see a VW Scirocco Harlequin at Castle Combe on Saturday. Couldn’t get a picture as I was in the queue to get in and it was several Cara behind. Thought it was pretty smart a great nod to the Polo.
