I think they get better looking by the year, what a machine.

Yup. The values seem to rise perfectly in line with my salary too, so I’m always about 50% short of buying one. Just as I was in 2006 🤣.

There should be PCP deals on stuff like that where you pay about £100 a month with a mental guaranteed future value and end up in mega equity at the end of the term.

I like them, I like it when a manufacturer makes an effort to differentiate. You can get them without, if you wanted to.

It’s a flawed car as the cost is astronomical and you can go quicker just buying a new M3, but it’s not all about that.

I love it's don't give a f**k look and those throwback wheels are f**king cool even if they aren't actually nice! 😂

I think they look great.

However, £177,115 😳.
I know. Very sadly, money makes money. 2 are on AT with a £30k premium. Someone could own it for a year and likely sell with no depreciation.

RS6 are insanely priced these days. I’d bet a fully loaded brand new example (not GT) would be about £140k. Cars in general seem so expensive now. I think top spec RS4 are over £100k. Not sure when that happened.

I couldn’t get a picture of the front seats but they looked immense.

I didn’t realise quite how crazy prices are now until the missus was after a new car (the work) recently. Anything less than £60k just seemed crap.

There were well specced G series M4’s pushing £100k at BMW and I’m sure mine was “only” around £60k OTR. That’s a crazy jump up in one model generation, over what, about 6 years?

B8.5 RS4 (excluding Nogaro) top spec was about £77k (2014), I think. I saw on Carwow a RS4 competition for £110k.

Check this out. Base price seems reasonable but it’s serious when there is an option list over 30 pages. By the time you’ve done some essentials like paint, performance pack and a few others, that’ll be at least £10k. Thats before carbon brakes and upseced wheels and top speed. It’s really taking the piss, imo.

Makes sense for them I guess, when everything gets leased and the options get paid off over the lease term.

Back to the old Porsche way of doing things. “Yes sir. It was delivered correctly I assume sir? Ahhhh. You didn’t spec a steering wheel sir. Good day.”

Even if paid over the lease term, that value of options is really going to bump it up. Those options (RS4 - OTR £73k vs £110k RS4 competition) are adding up to a significant value.

No doubt the competition comes with more as standard and a more powerful engine - but it’s staggering. The lease payment on c£40k could just be options. It’s only an Audi estate car.

A colleague has a Q7 and his payment after an unknown deposit is £700. I think that’s very steep. He did tell me it was a 3 year term, which he is nearing the end of. It wasn’t new either, I think he got it at 2 years old. That’s the value of my first mortgage payment.

I’m quite tight with this stuff. I find it hard to believe the general person spends so much on a car payment. I guess that’s why I’m always in old cars.

I actually like that with the decals and wheels. Something a bit different.

Age I’ve got to agree. Makes a refreshing change to s**t shades of Matt grey with black wheels.

It’s a throwback to when the more special stuff was a bit different.

No they're not a 100k car but they're so cool. A customer just bought an RSQ8. Probably over 100k... I just don't understand.
