Spotted this lifted Toyota today with quite frankly the biggest exhausts tips I’ve ever seen.

Was frequenting one of Corby's fine eating establishments on Thursday and I came across these beauties.

I think the sticker is better than the car tbh @Flat Eric

The others, while at a car dealer, I still consider a spot, as you really dont see these all too often.

It's mint

What a car! However that doesn't seem to be a 4x4 model. Nice sticker though! 🤣

Decent spots on the seafront today, 3x McLaren's in a convoy, then another one later on, and a Ferrari. Then two more Ferrari's parked up, a beautiful Escort on the go, and then the absolute don, my dream car, the GT3 RS. I've seen this around once before but it was moving (at speed, so no picture) but couldn't not take the opportunity this time!

Man I really want to go to Japan at some point.

It’s an amazing country.

Tokyo is chaotic. I loved every minute there but it’s very full on. Left there today for a few days in the mountains, then off to Kyoto and then Osaka.

The cars are cool, but the food is outrageous, and I love the nuances in custom here.

Highly recommend.

My old man had one of those rx7’s when they were new. Didn’t get on with the neighbour, he was always whinging about us being up early and making noise.

So he had it delivered to the house, on a transporter. At 7am.

Do you have to speak at least some Japanese or can you just speak English loudly and slow so they understand you?

My cousin works for Yamaha and occasionally goes with work. He said it's a little racist but you can add that South Park style twang to what you're trying to say and it works 🤣🤣🤣

Not really. Its nice to know a few words and phrases as it’s really appreciated, and I’ll be bowing to people for weeks to come, but as @ForceIndia says the translator app is a godsend.

In restaurants most food has pictures next to it on the menu, so knowing ‘I would like this please’ and pointing seems to work. Or ‘would would you recommend’ if you’re like me and will try anything. A lot of the language here is nuanced by tone, so it’s fun emphasising ‘oushi nei!’ (Almost slang Japanese for ‘that’s good yeah/isn’t it) if you eat something in front of the chef/waiter - they love that 😂

Anyway, a car. What’s this? I’m pretty good with JDM cars but don’t know this.

First guess was a Chaser but the rear lights aren’t quite right.

Maybe a Nissan Cima? Difficult to tell without any front/rear pics.

Looks like a JZX90 Toyota MKII to me...I think. The number of big, RWD saloon cars Toyota used to make is genuinely mental.

I also thought Chaser/Cresta/something Toyota but not sure. Jzx90 looks right though!

No other pics as the majority of the time I’m just snapping while walking, with Mrs Hixle tutting.

Take her to a love hotel a hire one of the f*cked up theme rooms for an afternoon, she'll either be into it or realise there's worse things than a bit of casual car spotting.
