Yeah long way. The XSi was lowered on koni shocks and springs. These Bilsten efforts are far better.

Looks very similar to rich's, same colour and smoothed rear.... has he sold it?
 
that will piss me off now as my bro has a saxo lowered etc and his will handle better then mine altho i have cup sus
 
It'll depend hows its lowered. If is done the cheapo way it might not handle well at all lol
 
what is the gti, 1600? and what kinda bhp/stats and times do they pull out?

GTi is indeed 1600. 120bhp standard, although the later ones were 130bhp apparently.

I know for a fact this one at the moment is more than that, though ;) :cool:

is the o/side lower rear quarter a different colour? or is that some shitty reflection of the water......
 
lower is not always better, you need some travel in suspension to soak up shity uk roads.

looks great. what are these things like with an LSD on ? anyone done it.

1997-2001 120bhp - 0-60 std about 7.4
2001 onwards 130bhp 0 - 60 about 7.2.

I had 3 of them, love the things.

Had one running 153bhp at fly.

Then a throttle bodied one running 184bhp
 
thats deffo had paint.... you can tell in the top and bottom pics, doubt its the water reflection imo

Tailgate and bonnet sprayed, due to de-badging/handles. Nothing else done while in the ownership of Gemma or the guy before her. Dont know about Rich, but I doubt it. The photo's must be deceiving, because in the metal its stunning and looks perfect.
