I've got the D2 8 pots on mine. I feel the same as you, I would just say they were standard brakes if I hadn't seen them lol.

they are ok for my typical drive tho.

Will have a nose where ears are. Someone off scoobynet have mentioned a place in Chester called silverstone, supposed to be good.

  Maybe a 172 Cup..
I'm a bit weird I think, as bit of a bug fan, even in standard WRX guise. Even prefer standard lights to Morettes...

They look SO much better with the single exhaust rather than the pointless 4 pipes. I’ve never liked the 4 pipes as standard, it’s not what an Impreza is about IMO.

I like the tinted projectors they had on the STI, the normal ones were a bit too silver to hide away.

The normal Morettes look shite, but the WRC headlights, which IIRC were two spots with a brake duct above them, look the absolute nun's tits.

May just do that mate. Do they deal much in impreza's though, need a couple of things checking.

That company rings a bell. That's it, used to be a company called silverstone automotive, lad on scoobynet raves about them

I'm upping my budget to 5k after Xmas for a scoob, and I want a bugeye sti with some decent mods. Is this achievable with 5k? Preferably a jdm, imports are always better spec'd.

What's the differences with a bug sti and a jdm model? Is there a link anywhere with it?

  RS2'd Cup Trackcar
I wouldnt get to hung up on a JDM bug sti because the difference between JDM and UK isnt as big as the JDM crew like to believe, unless you opt for the rare S202 or Spec C versions

  RS2'd Cup Trackcar
Basically.....The JDM has eveything the UK has plus...

The same heads but slightly bigger intake ports.
A VF30 turbo as opposed to the VF35 fitted to the UK (perfomance wise, nothing really in it)
Higher revving cams.
Rear wiper.
Electric folding mirrors.

The engines are the same (apart from the porting and cams) and are no stronger than the UK car.

5k will buy a bug sti but only lightly modded IMO......They really are a cracking car and pound for pound the best Impreza you can buy ;)
