Much difference between the Bugeye and Blobeye STi's? Besides cosmetic differences

Bugeyes seem far cheaper than the Blobeyes

Always preferred the look of the Blobeye, but after a Bugeye followed me yesterday it did look bloody good, same bumper and splitter as this one;

Not I'm aware of mate. The Spec C is a lot different though.

I do like the blob but they only made the bugeye for a year.

From what I've read online it's the same engine, gearbox - just mainly cosmetic changes

Although the later Blobs had widetrack and DCCD, I'd be interested to know how they compared with a Bugeye

Always loved your Spec C Scott, attention to detail is something else!

Out of interest how do you find it compares with your Clio handling wise? I know yours has the two diffs which is bound to help handling wise!

Bugeye also have DCCD, mine doesn't but the 16" wheeled Spec C does.

I'll try and get some more info for you tonight mate once I'm on my home PC.

My mates mrs had an accident in his WRX, someone else was at fault. Quick turnaround to a blobeye. (Not 100% on fromt bumper though).

I used to think that, the ugly duckling of the group. As standard they look a bit, well, ugly. But the right mods and they look superb

Just bought this nice and cheap :)

Completely bog standard.

So far ive done gear box and rear diff oil with Motul 3000. Serviced it and put on a magnex cat back.

Planning on removing the bump strips, painting the sideskirts, get a few of the small parking dents removed and maybe a remap.

I love it. My first impreza

I must admit, I don't like bug eyes!

I think the best impreza is the 2005 blobeye, followed by the hawk.

Mine will be up for sale at some point if anyone is interested in a low miler. Casually Porsche shopping
