Went over to Blackpool yesterday. Didn't take my tripod with me as I wasn't going to do much photography.

Taken off Facebook as my Flickr is playing up, hence the drop in IQ.

I've got more to go up on Flickr which I'll try to get up tonight.

These are all hosted on facebook so excuse the quality. I haven't picked bits and bobs for flickr just yet. All shot on my nifty fifty, and as you can tell I've been a bit of a shallow focus ***** lately.

Few from holiday, and a few from a walk in the park today with the mrs' new dog.

Nothing amazing, but I've started to really enjoy using the camera again, hopefully they'll improve because of that.

Just picked up what I consider to be my dream lens, a Nikon Nikkor 50mm Ai-S F1.2.
Using it on a D3 is sublime, looking forward to getting some portraits done.

Very cool! You should try do an edit that brings out similar colours to the original smiths one too.

Yeah, I’ll do that when I go back with the fisheye. I wanted to go with a fisheye originally but I didn’t have it before I went. The fisheye would be really cool because in one of their music videos they use a fisheye lens in the video at this location.

Thanks, Brazo. I particularly liked it because if you’re familiar with the video of ‘Stop Me If You Think You’ve Heard this One Before’, they’re on bikes in the video lol, so it’s like a 26 years on sort of recreation.
