1UZs aren't that powerfull though, 290hp but lots of torques. 1UZ is a nice cheap V8 conversion that would be reliable. That being said its about as much as a stage 3 S13 and a hell of a lot more reliable. I'll never know how any-one would want the normal jap noises over:
