The Old Mans Fezza!

Car  182
Just thought i would post up some pics of my dads car... been in a garage since 2000! and off the road for 14 years! Only got it back last month and, needless to say he is a very happy chappy.

Engine was fully re-built along with the gearbox, full custom made exhaust all the ways from the manifold (as not even Marrenello could get hold of one!).. Along with loads of other engine bits.

Anyways here's a couple of pics.. Needs a respray though (another £4K!)

Also lets see if anyone can guess the actual name of it?.......(and don't look up the number plate!)

Yep, Si is right, it's a 365 GT. I love them, it's a real shame so many get ripped apart for 250 recreations.

The most popular rounded 365 model was 1967's 365 GT 2+2. As the name implies, it was a four-seat coupe, replacing the 330 GT 2+2. Like the car it replaced, the GT 2+2 had an independent suspension in the rear rather than the live axle of the 365 California.
The 365 GT 2+2 was a luxurious car with leather seats, power steering and brakes, electric windows, and optional air conditioning. It quickly became the company's top-selling model, with about 800 produced in four years.

Gold star for you too!

I really do love old school Ferraris, whereas i hate all new ones (apart from the Enzo).

If i make any reasonable money i'd love a Dino.

probably not worth a mint now I guess, they were never the most desirable of Ferraris.

That said, he does have very good taste - is that a gold Mercedes SEC I can see in the background?

Funnily enough no it isn't but i believe he used to own a 500 SEL or something like that... the car in the background is my mums car which is a Rover 827 Coupe....

And again you are right about it not being worth a Mint as already mentioned its not one of the most desired ferrari's probably lucky to get 35K for it after the respray

I'd rather a db4 tbh

purely to have in the garage and look at you understand, not to drive lol

Whatever James Bond:rasp:

I really like the old Aston's too as it goes.. My dads a bit of a ferrari nut though! Used to have a Koesnegg (sp?!) Kitted 308 GTB think that was more my style!

John your dad car is one of the best ive ever seen, the exhaust raw make me do a sex wee in my pants :rasp:
