The PH1 172 Appreciation Thread.

Can't wait for my Ph1 to be in a state to post in here again.
Do like your steering wheel @Coops Mk1 trying to get ideas for mine when I get around to that job. Tempted with a deep dish OMP one but part of me still wants to keep the original one and get it retrimmed (I'll have to keep it anyway for MoT tests but I won't retrim it)
And I like the turbines, I was on the look out for some but F1's came up local for a good price I couldn't ignore.

F1's definitely suite the car better, but the Maracanã are a much much prettier wheel so I am torn...….. they're technically for the red track car anyway but couldn't resist a go on oddy too.

The wheel I am super super happy with, wouldn't sully the interior with anything aftermarket and the job Andy (snappy) has done is as ever nothing short of exemplary. I am particularly glad I went for the silver stitching to tie in with the silver highlights in the cabin

Afraid so...shes just makes me want to race everywhere so I've bought a replacement to slow me down..

don't think Oddy see's much above 4k and 50mph these days, she's low and slow in her dotage! keep getting tempted to raise her up and make her a bit more of B road blaster as intended but I guess keeps wear and tear down trundling about in her and just fitting new shiny stuff. Did you see I have the A/C working again now too

I'll post it on here tomorrow with all the pics and info..someone ran into the back of me one night on the way to work then drove off...I've managed to half sort it but they slightly creased the wheel well..still get the spare in but I think it will put people off.

@boomerbang2006 that's a shitter mate, what a t**t driving off too, unbelievable. Hopefully it can be jigged by new owner or similar but yeah that will affect it's vlaue quite negatively unfortunately.

Pop the pics and description up and see if you get a bite, never know as they are getting harder and harder to fine and if the rest of it is straight and honest, you never know

No picture update from me but I can confirm I prefer driving my Ph1 to my M140i that I returned this week. I’m properly happy with it and it’s not even close to the spec I want.
