Driven the M6 E60 and I dunno if it was just because of the power that made it feel quite intimidating but it felt bloody huge! Driving my mates dream car that he'd owned for 2 days may have also played a factor. The wife would never have one which is a shame as I'd really like one as the family mobile, M5 would be dreaming but a middle of the range one would do me nicely,

Running costs would be outrageous, John.

Ah great stuff.

Will Come In handy.

Tbf I could do with a price on the drivers side fog light surround and fog light [emoji5]️

Also could you tell me what bulbs they take?

Thank you.

Surround is £16.68
Fog lamp is £126.83
and takes a HB4 55w

Prices are retails by the way :)

Finished work and my son asked if we could wash cars, his toy car and my car.

Wheels definitely need a refurb so going the book them in and I'm not happy with the front bumper so going to buy a new one and have it painted, had a quote for just the bumper and not too bad [emoji16]

Any way. Washed waxed and sealed.

Looking superb mate fair play! I really want the 550i in the same spec as yours. Or the 545i. Perfect family car. Big boots too.

I thought the semi-auto boxes were decent in these. Drove one around 50 miles to the dealer not long after they were out, possibly was a 530D and thought the box was good.

Oh and don't get an "old" plate. One thing I really really don't get is why anyone would date their car?

6 digit or 5 digit fine but not an 02 plate!

It was suppose to be a 3 but that's gone so it looked. JJ03CLK as in Jacob Joe Clarke. [emoji53]

Il keep looking.

Thanks for the comments guys.

A minor update.

Still love the car, a little boring until I turn the traction control off properly :)

Something that bugged me from the start was the lights, not xenon so they looked cigarette stained yellow, including the halo rings. After doing a bit of research on bulbs I settled for mtec super white 4,350k then changes the halos for super bright canbus error free bulbs as some can throw the error lights up.

Look loads better :)

Had a bit of play and at 70 could feel the front wheels shaking a little, so had the control arms changed was has cured the problem no end :) also gave it some new oil even though it's not ready I don't trust the previous owners and for a piece of mind I dropped millers in

I'm still looking at number plates but can't find a nice one, so I'm going to measure them up properly and order some from fancy plays to give it a cleaner look, along with some mats £140[emoji30][emoji30]

Paintwork isn't the best with swirls and holograms everywhere and ideally I'd like a new front bumper, so will probably order a new bumper first and book it in with Jim @whitedetails.

Ordering the full dpf delete kit and having it mapped by a guy I know. His 530d is punchingly kick around 300bhp with 540lbft [emoji41] so being swayed.

That is a fair bit of torque tbf! How will the transmission cope with that? Surely not standard?
