130i Road, 172 Track
Jeez, I've been a bit slack with the updates. Had a big year with final year of uni last year so didn't get to spend much time on the car or out to many track days
Still managed to get a few mods done, and I'll throw up some photos of how the car looks now. Had a track day yesterday and the car went well but need to play with the tyre pressures a bit (and also learn how to drive properly). All good fun though

Corbeau Pro-series fixed bucket seat with Sparco harness (out of a race S1 Exige) and standard S1 Elise seat (still sorting height of this one + passenger harness):

The car has been running well. Goes a lot better with the Quaife LSD! Had a problem with a bent metal sleeve on the poly wishbones bushes - the garage that installed them (who I will never return to for other reasons, and this one just confirmed it) didn't tack weld them once they were fitted, even though it says to on the instructions... :dapprove:
I also had to get my cat re-fitted after I knocked out the bolts connecting the flanges when I spun on a wet track and it hit a ripple strip.. luckily the exhaust only fell off when I was rolling into the service station on the motorway on the way home and we secured it with a padlock
All good now though, and she's going great. The next thing on the "to do" list in the Cup racer induction set up - I have the straight piece of silicon pipe - I just need to work out what to do with the oil breath/return pipe. Should I get a catch can? Or just run it to the new silicon intake pipe? I've also got some rear camber shims - do these make much of a difference (apart from making the car look tougher)? I also need to sort some brake ducts as I removed the fog lights ages ago to do this but just haven't gotten around to it...
Cheers
