The time has came..my turbo plans..opinions?

  Ly Megane 230 F1
My brother finally got his car back from the insurance company after the back of it was hit by a tractor (not as bad as it sounds :) )

So i have spoke to him about getting his k03 turbo, currently has a forge actuator fitted so boost controll is there to a degree and intercooler kit and hes happy with that so go me!
My mate who is a fully qualified welder/fabricator/pipe fitter is willing to help me out with this..i know he is more than capable as he has already made me a section of exhaust on my car to replace the commonly broken rs192 center sections.. i know its not much be he is a highly skilled tig welder.

Anyway..
My plan is this.

I am looking for a figure around the 220+ so i know the k03 is capable of that no bother.

After looking at the k03 turbos it looks like a good candidate.
It is not a water cooled turbo so higher working temperatures i know but this can be overcome with turbo jackets/heatwrap/heatsheilds, but less work to fit since there is no water lines.
the downpipe goes straight down and not out the side like some so less downpipe in the engine bay.
compressor side of the turbo comes out the top of the engine so easy access for fitting the intercooler to it.
Only problem is the air inlet side but that can be overcome with a cold air feed from possibly the drivers fog light then underneath to the back of the engine and into the turbo?
I am looking at getting a 172 manifold (since they are cheap) to use for the flanges

The first flange,Manifold to head flange..would be used to make up a custom log type manifold with a flange made to accommodate the k03 flange.

Second flange, i will need to buy a cheap downpipe off ebay like this- http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-SKODA-...CarParts_SM&hash=item2a1f596081#ht_500wt_1127 or like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUDI-TT-A...CarParts_SM&hash=item5d32e7ce63#ht_889wt_1110 and use the top piece including the vibration eliminator then a custom pipe from that to the 172 bottom flange.

Intercooler and pipes are straight forward so no need to explain that

Oil feed and returns..am I better with the bellow.

Return line -

Feed line -

OR

Using the likes of a mocal oil sandwich plate with a feed and return from that?

I know other things will need to be looked at like:

possibly moving brake lines
possibly replacing injectors with megane f4rt ones
heat sheilding
bracing for the turbo / downpipe
re-mapping

I know theres more to it that what i make it out to seem in the above post..i have had 3 previous turbo cars so i feel confident in doing the work and feel i have a reasonable amount of knowledge about turbos so dont think im just another day dreamer that doesnt know anything about turbos :) lol.
i have measured the space in the engine bay and i am getting the turbo from the car at the weekend to check if there is enough room in the bay..if there is my mate is goin to draw out plans for a manifold shape/design to suit the manifold and the position to where it can best be placed without been to close to the bay.

Im just looking for opinions on my idea from people who know there stuff more than i do :).. sorry for rambling on and thanks.
