According to the trip I get 57.9 out of mine. Heavy traffic for 20 miles a day.

Tonight there was no traffic and it went up to 63.4!

Tuesday night I went to stoke, did 286 miles at 85mph and used less than £30 of fuel.

They really are stupidly good on fuel.

That's pretty good. Driving like an absolute granny I managed to get real world 64 but it indicated 68.5! really accurate :/ that was 640 miles to the tank

  Pug 206 SW, 172 CUP
206 SW 2.0 HDI 12 miles each way to work with a good chunk of stop start driving and returning 50.4mpg. No good chunks of extra urban bumping that up either

No 6th gear and no blue balls/ecoballmatic trickery pokery either

Cup seems to very quickly get back above 35mpg when pottering around even after a really good spanking.

Overall very pleased with both cars.

  RS 197
Decided to do my m25 - A3 commute using cruise control at a speed of 60mph (slow I know). Reset my mpg and by the time I done the commute there and back I got just under 40mpg. Haven't reset it since and have only been doing town driving and I'm currently on 35mpg, but still by far the best I've got from my 197

  Clio 172, Escort RST
Depends on the condition.

Mainly stop start journeys where the engine is barely warm will see me getting 26-28MPG.
A mixture of stuff will see me getting 33MPG.
The best I have seen is 42MPG with a drive up to Chester. It was combination of A roads and motorways.

That is calculated via the pump to pump method.

  Clio RS200 Cup
When I took delivery a couple weeks ago it was fixed at 29 mpg, I've been driving it hard and having fun with it which still didn't change it. Reset it on Saturday and have done 300 miles or so and currently getting 35 mpg although this is driving 95% of the time like a granny. I think overall with a bit of sensible driving whilst still having fun, the low 30's are quite achievable.

  Fiesta ST
Averaged ~42mpg over 550 miles. Mix of Cruise Control on the M60/M62/M1 and then some very spirited driving through the middle of Wales on some twisty A and B roads.

Very surprised considering I was expecting mid/lower 30's.

  LY 200 EDC LUX
Clio 200t

It's on 33 average at the mo. I have tried religiously to get it near the claimed '44 mpg' by Renault. Not a chance!

  Phase 2 172 cup
Phase 2 172 cup. Averages 38-40. Mix of motorway and other roads. Plus the odd ras up through the gears. Can't help it. Will be worse when I get the new exhaust!

  2020 Merc E450 Coupe
Did 7 miles trying to get the best mpg I could and got an indicated 80.4mpg from my 182 doing around 50mph for 6-7miles. That was with the aircon on etc so not some all out Eco run with taped up panels etc

  Renault Clio182 bean
I managed to get 38.5 mpg travelling from Leicester to south wales this week, I had the aircon on the whole time, and the car was loaded with suitcases and 2 passengers, not too bad for a 2.0 petrol I suppose. I can only think it would have been much better mpg if it wasn't for the m4 average and variable speed camera changes every 2 minutes.

  Mazda3 2.2D 185BHP
Averaged ~42mpg over 550 miles. Mix of Cruise Control on the M60/M62/M1 and then some very spirited driving through the middle of Wales on some twisty A and B roads.

did you work that out when you refilled the tank?
If so thats a nice 420Miles per tank dude.... very healthy

The little computer in my ph1 172 tells me i'm getting 37-38 mpg usually, how accurate this is, i don't know

  Arctic Just A 182
Just passed 100 miles since I got my 182 and the rough guide provided by the trip computer is saying 33.9mpg
Far better than the 25 I was getting from the MCS I just got rid of.

  MK4 Clio RS 200 EDC
Mk4 rs 200t can get about 35-38 mpg driving normal having a bit of fun comes down to 25-29 mpg that's using super unleaded petrol never had it at the supposed 44mpg renault says and that's driving like a granny as well

  Clio 182. Black.
In my 182 I average 33. On the M25 this week I re set the trip & did 65 to 70 in top. It averged 47. Thought that was pretty good for a 2l engine.

  Phase 2 Iceberg 172
Never actually worked it out but the best I got was 54mpg indicated on the onboard computer staying at 60mph on a motorway trip.

  Clio 172, Escort RST
With the AC coming in, a mixture of driving and high speed motorway runs I have managed 35MPG with V-Power on a chipped 172. I may even had had a play with a couple of cars on that tank. I cannot complain with that really :).

The Escort RST? Around 24MPG ; Should I start doing more miles I am seriously considering EFI, be it Cosworth management or Emerald...

  Renault Clio 182 Cup
Mines at 35.4mpg atm, pretty impressed since I only managed around 30mpg in my 1.8 bimmer. And I'm a VERY heavy footed driver (can't really go more than 15 minutes without opening her up).

  E class AMG Sport
I recently purchased a Phase 1 172 and drove it over 300 miles back home to Scotland and achieved 49mpg.
Sat at 70-75mph all the way.

  Clio 172 Cup, Eunos
The best I've seen in my 172 cup ph2 is 46mpg according to the trip computer. That was my motorway journey to work and back on a steady 50-70mph with a bit of stop start in between.
Not sure how accurate that is, but well impressed if it is anywhere near!
