I would never be unfaithful to my beloved Triss... the little minx. Er...Lol it's amazing how many quests there are that the only reward is Geralt getting laid. So many lols.
Why can't I get motivated to play this?
It's weird - I literally start in that room with the balcony - look out to the amazing scenery and then simply switch it off!
I wonder if it's the same feeling you get when a thousand page novel is at the side of you and everyone says it's awesome?
There's no helping some people... :tonguewink:Why can't I get motivated to play this?

If you think white orchard is good you'll be blown away by the rest. Any witcher ps4 community is filled with landscape screen shots.
Helps if you've played the previous games, I guess. You should definitely give it the time of day, though. It's one of the best games ever made. 150+ hours into it here.
I actually preferred the story of Hearts of Stone to Blood and Wine. I thought the characters Olgierd von Everec and Gaunter O'Dimm were absolutely superb. Great story that was!Blood and wine is bloody difficult though. Feel like I'm back to square one
I think if hearts and stone was set in a new country like blood and wine then it would have rivalled the wild hunt story for sureI actually preferred the story of Hearts of Stone to Blood and Wine. I've been playing this a few weeks now. Picked up the GOTY for cheap and it's epic. One of the best games I've ever played.
Took me about 10 hours before I was properly into it. Now I can't stop playing it
I'm still at this stage.Maybe that's the stage I need to get to? Rather than getting to the bit where I have my first encounter and then leave it unplayed again!
That's what I thought initially but it's actually really simple at its heart. it's just getting over that initial learning curve and it can actually be quite enjoyable. Especially as you build up the card collection. It also helps on some of the quests where you have to successfully win Gwent tournaments, etc.I've never bothered with gwent. Seems mighty confusing
Took me a couple of hours to get drawn in. Now I think it's the best video game ever made, ever.Maybe that's the stage I need to get to? Rather than getting to the bit where I have my first encounter and then leave it unplayed again!
Just checked, it is not...Is it still 6.99 on the Xbox store?
