Then and Now: Tungy Valver

  Tungy
Had a rough time since last sumemr with my valver. As some of you may recall I smashed it up and went to a lot of qwork to get it somewhere near road worthy again. Check out this thread http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=184828&highlight=Project+Tungsten

3 days after getting back into driving it again with the blue panels on the front, the gearbox decided to commit suicide :(. Me and Amir then bought another Tungy valver between us and after stripping the engine out that and putting his in, got that roadworthy. We then used the gearbox and clutch out of that car and put it onto that engine. Me and Amir then dropped my engine back in and swapped the panels over from this tungy valver.

Here's some pics frm today. It's about 85% there now, as you can see the offside front is very slightly out and we are going to have to adjust the bonnet hinges to accomodate. However still this is a very happy day for me.

I then gave it a good polish back at home but didn't manage to get any pics as my mate turned up. Many thanks to Amir for all his help. Between us we've achieved a hell of a lot of work in these past few weeks on mine and his car.
