They fixed the 1st gear clunk on the 182

As subject really! Have they got their arse in gear with the mechanics yet? does the suspension still make stupid noises?

Unlikely seeing as how its the same gearbox (a couple of minor ratio changes) and the same clutch!

As for suspension, yes they should have that sorted as this is where a lot of the changes are...

I found alot of the suspension noise disappeared when I fitted the 30mm apex lowering springs

i have a clunk when i am in traffic and am in first and then when I take my foot off the accelerator and the car jolts slightly I get a noise from the front, wuite annoying, is that what you are talking about?

Some cars do it, some dont...

My Cup never did it originally, even with the dodgy (whining) gearbox on from new, but when they swapped it for a new one that does "clunk" every so often.

I think the clunk being described above is the mount underneath the battery - it needs tightening up.
