Things not quite right...

Just had my car back after the cam belt snapped and im £600 lighter but theres still much more to do!

1. Backbox lose and blowing
2. Injecters ticking louder
3. Wheel bearing whining
4. Window washers stoped working
5. Power steering whining
6. Electric mirrors dont work
7. Passenger electric window doesnt work from drivers side
8. Door started ratling

Will get the lot sorted this month hopefully but then ill be bored because theres nothing else to do!

List whats "not quite right" with your cars...

1) gearbox crunches when changing to third
2) exhaust sounds shite and blows
3) Front washer jet missing
4) rear seat belt rattles,
5) Drivers seat slightly loose

Wheels need re-furbing
Drivers seat creaking
Exhaust rusting away to nowt. Will need changing soon

1) D/S wing needs replacing
2) Some light scratches need touching up
3) I need petrol
4) Tracking needs reconfiguring it still takes too the left
5) Sunroof Rattles sometimes
6) That body in the boot needs dumping...its starting to smell

I do similar lists too with things that need doing at work , home etc . i feel its good to plan ahead with bills etc .

The 197 is a company car, don't care about that.

The Golf needs the back bumper painting
The Service indicator needs switching off cos the grease monkeys didn't do it when it was serviced.
it needs two new front tyres (225 45 17's, ouch!!)

1. 3 small parking dents, whether i'll ever actually get these sorted is another thing.
2. Buckled o/s/r wheel, need to sort out powercoating on another set.
3. I've got to take my xenons out for the MOT tomorrow afternoon and i'm on nights so i've got to do it tomorrow morning come rain or shine. Nothing like leaving it til the last minute eh .
4. Rear bumper needs respraying after someone decided to back into me in Jan.

mismatch rsi bonnet wing and door (from a visit with the stream)
doesnt like 3rd gear
needs new brake leads
bonnet cable snapped

Rear arches need to be sorted soon looks horrible, universal joint needs attention, manifold blowing, exhaust making a knocking noise, cambelt due, rip in one of the headrests (leather), centre cap missing on front drivers side, more things are bound to pop up later on closer inspection!:dead:

1) Exhaust looks gash (too tight to buy new one, I mean it not actually broken)

2) Few minor car park dents
3) Steering wheel has almost disappeared
4) Needs 4 new tyres soon
5) Only 1 handbrake cable on car. Keep meaning to fit other one.


Other than that its tip top.......................which means it will be broken tomorrow lol

Erm let me see.

1. #1 coil needs replacing soon, going to do #4 at the same time. (2+3 have already been done).
2. N/S wheel baring singing, needs doing soonish.
3. 2 small knuckle dents on the bonnet, 1 small trolley dent in drivers door and a few scratches on the o/s rear quarter.
4. Body kit still needs to be fitted.
5. S/s stealth exhaust needs fitting.
6. Could do with a proper wash and wax.

Ma niggles...

1) There is some sort of knocking coming from the engine bay on bumpy roads....elusive as feck. Suspension most likely.
2) Pads and Discs due next month.
3) 2 small dents but really not obvious
4) Various interior rattles that disappear when stereo gets louder. Sorted.
5) Aux belt due in 3K

Other than that shes a good girl.

3 Glovebox door wonky ( Hinge ? )
4. slightly buckled rim ( bad previous owner )
