This sound good for insurance

Being only four days away from having 5 years protected NCB i have had to make a claim due to an unknown hit and run driver.

For my new policy to start on wednesday i have 2 years NCB, im a 23 year old female with 4 years+ driving experience and one claim (not my fault), does £660 with Bell sound reasonable? This is the best so far.

Is Bell a good bet, TBH im fed up with looking, still gutted about crash,

I was 7 days away from 5yncb with an accident last year and the renewal was unaffected. (elephant)

Its gone up a bit this year.

Always make sure you protect at earliest opportunity, usually 4 years.

£660 sounds good. Try adding your mum as a named driver...

Yeh, thats with my mum as well. I knew i should have protected it last year, well peeeeeeed off.

The renewal with tesco would have been £592 with 5 years NCB if i had stayed, its now £999 with them!

I think that quote from Bell is good Lou. Miy insurance quotes are around £750 and U have 4 yrs NCB. My area isnt the best for insuring a car tho!

Try Admiral and Diamond for Women (all sister companies but may vary slightly) especially Diamond!

Ive tried greenlight before with my 4 years NCB, not the best.

Ive also tried Admiral and Diamond which were not far off Bells best quote.

My areas not bad. Ill keep you up to date! I have 2 years NCB by the way.

Ill probably go for that then, just gutted because it should have been £500! People driving with no insurance should be shot.

Yeah Im gutted for ya. I did protect mine, but it did cross my mind that should I save money and not protect it. At least you still have some NCB!

I take it you have got quotes to see how much your car will cost to get repaired privately?

Yeh, Im going to two garages tomorrow, one of which is a renault garage for quotes. However i think the damage is well over my £400 excess i have to pay, plus the extra £160 on my next policy.

Also, as it was not my fault id rather get it fixed asap and not worry about finding all the parts with good prices. I hate looking at it at the mo!

Yeah I know what you mean, You just want it back how it was and to forget about it as it wasnt even your fault. Can you tell us the Reg or the car? Or the area? Maybe us fellow Cliosporters can keep an eye out for it!!

May not loose my 5 years NCB now! The police found him! Im really surprised, my original £506 quote has only gone up to £551. Hopefully it stays that way as the claim should go through his insurance.
