Evening.
Requiring a little assistance on threading a hole in my rocker cover. It's currently where the pcv plugs into, it plugs into the rocker in the same fashion an injector does, with a rubber washer around it and sort of press fits into the hole. I'm intent on removing the pcv for a catch can system instead. My idea was to thread the hole and use AN fittings into braided lines to the catch can.
Is there a tool I can use that will thread the hole whilst removing it's own burr that anyone has experience with? There a few tools I've seen online but with this sort of thing I'd rather not chance it, rather not have metal spat all over my cam lobes! I don't want to take the rocker cover off as it involves removing the timing belt and most of the ancillaries of the engine.
Thanks,
Jack.
