well, more single body vs individual bodies lol. Both Ben and Andy are the only people in this game worth getting work done from imo, I just prefer Andy as I know the work will actually get done

And?

Do you realise how much time and money it takes to develop even the smallest item.

Sling together some old crap, wait for it to go bang or doesnt perform upto standards.........all on the basis of it being fast to market?

No thanks

Yes i work in a R&D department for ROV's.

just u talked a LOT about january... it's now april and no-one has seen nothing.

Not trying to dis your work, i appreciate the time and effort u put into these things.

I would just say, dont promise dates you cant deliver.

No one in the general public has seen anything.........Updates have only been forwarded onto people who are actually part of the prototyping phase.

And if it was just the F4R's then it might be a bit of a deal, but were doing 9 engine varients.

As for delivery dates, i said they should be done for end of jan.....as infallable as this industry is, we've had dates pushed back for reasons outside our control.

We havent offered them for sale or taken money from anybody who isnt part of the development phase or who doesnt know me........so i shouldnt worry yourself over my timescales.

i love throttle bodies :D Jons power is so useable, i was a little scared at the thought of driving it in all honesty but i was well suprised, the power delivery is sooo smooth there are no flat or lumpy bits in the entire rev range, after 250+ miles of driving it i was very confident of its power. Giving it utter death down some country lanes, supprised you didnt hear me Ben hehe.

Its alot smoother to drive than a standard 172. I dont claim to be a master far from it, but i can compare my 172 pretty much identical, W reg, ali bonnet etc, same suspension, to Jons throttle bodied one which i have driven a far whak now and say if i had the money and are willing to put it into a clio i would deff get it done without a shodow of a doubt

M

mini-valver

I can't wait to get mine back, miss it already :(
Andy J, Got to respect that Ben is self funded so R+D will take longer as he has work to turnaround aswell as concentrate on other projects....

Yes, full kits will be available worldwide.

I'm pretty sure it wont be too hard to convince me to come over to T&T ;)

What's the rush anyway?

Have you guys got a race on at Lemans? I think not.

No rush for me. No more tuning till my warranty runs out next March.

Ben's goodies should be up and running by then, and time for me to save up an ox choking bankroll.

howd you get on wi mini valvers K4M? any exciting products for me to sneak on th CC past the mrs!?

coming on well, a major part is being sorted on monday.

And i dont think you'll sneak it past on the CC lol.

  RSC 182 Cup
Yes, will have final news this weekend.

I hope its pleasing to my ears aswell as everybody elses.

A few of us Aussies are hanging out for this! We have bugger all choice in performance parts for the clio out here so an ITB alternative (is that right?) is sounding awsome!

I was more referring to things never actually getting done... no bother now though, I no longer own that car or i'd be chasing you up believe me :coffee:

  ph1 172 / r1 mini project
hmm i get paid 2morro but im goin to have to hang on to my pennies to see wot this new bit of kit is!

"The world awaits" would be a good thread title for this I think.

The build up is being hyped as much as De La Hoya and Floyd Mayweather's fight

  ph1 172 / r1 mini project
ha i read through all 12 pages after doin a search for throttle bodies and was none the wiser by the end!!

yeah I'm not surprised lol, the thread went off on one a bit when everyone start asking Ben when this mystery product of his will be available.

TBH, if you want ITB's I'd just go for it otherwise you could be hanging on forever and there's no guarantee this new product will be as good as the old tried and tested body/carb route. Plus you cant replicate that porno noise on a single TB either

Pfft, it'll be miles better........even if its only contruction quality and ease of use.

ease of use for who though? you the tuner or the end user?

superior construction quality and ease of use is great, but of no real advantage if that's all it is :S

I take it your predicting this new bit of kit to make more power than ITB's and cost much less?

ease of use for anybody who decides to fit it.

And 'even' if its only contruction quality, which when your paying the money you do for bodies, isnt a small issue considering material quality and tolerances.

And were talking about bodies at the moment.
