Canon 400D camera. Used the Canon 70-300IS lens for all of them except #4.. used the Canon 50mm f1.8 for that.

Look forward to seeing the A1 GP pics. This was my first go at motorsport... which is what I got the kit for. Gotta get some practice in before I attempt getting pics at Silverstone for the F1 GP in a couple of months!

Excellent shots, just from normal spectator points? Never been to Thruxton before (always too many horror stories of it being insanely busy for BTCC and loads of traffic problems etc) but it's only 45 minutes down the road from me, should make the effort really.

Nice lens mate... 'L' as well! I've already got that range covered with my 70-300IS (although it's not in the 'L' league!) so I think the 17-55IS f2.8 lens is next on my list when I have a spare £550ish.

It's only an hour from me and well worth the trip - I'll be going back. Pics were all from the public grandstand by the chicane before the start/finish straight. Great view and no flippin catch-fencing in the way!
