Tie rods / Track rod ends

Trying to get the old track rod ends off to replace but struggling to remove them tried heat etc..
Is it easier to replace the tie rods and can it be done without removing the steering rack

If you get really stuck then one option is to use an angle grinder to cut the tie rod, then use one of these to undo the tie rod https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/36189956...XuzwWdASje&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Edit - no need to remove the steering rack

Probably wants new tie rods anyway if not done before. As above easy to do in situ with the tool.

If its cup pack, you will need the correct length tie rods to suit, prob best off using oem

Thanks, it’s not a cup so standard tie rods should do, doesn’t look like the car has had much tlc before I got it, it’s easier to do everything now than messing around later.
