I was just wondering do the young members spend most of there money on there clio.

I suppose the age im talking to is 18 to maybe 20 yr olds but i guess its mainly 18-19 yr olds who have standard clios and mod them as its alot to be insured on a 172/182.

i spend money on polish/cleaning products, I.C.E, petrol and decent oil. Dont see the point in chavving the car out really with snowplow bodykits n crap lol i think to be cool you have to have a good engine, good suspension, good tyres and nice wheels not no bling bling chav crap lmao!!!

I reckon I used around 24k miles of petrol at 30mpg average on a good day.(not 24k in one day:rasp

that 800 gallons, or approx £4000, in over a year. And the fact is most of these miles are purely joy riding.lol. Just like to go out for a nice drive and chill out.

Depends on if i bother getting finance.
Been looking at 306 hdi turbo (90bhp) if i dont bother getting finance
If i do possibly a 307 deisel or a new shape astra 1.3 cdti

yeh im 20 any heavily modded my clio last year, kinda regret now as i wana a new car, but ive spent over £1k on this one already. parents told me its a waste of money, but its hard to listen wen ur a stubborn teenager...

I reckon if I stopped all the joy rides, I could save £50 a month easy, which can go towards other mods. I hate to think exactly how much I have spent as a result of having this car.

insurance for 2 years - £1600
modifications - £2500
servicing/consumables - £700
tyres - easily £700+
ICE - £600
satnav/roadangel - £400

tax £350 approx

then petrol!

£4000

so nearly £20k spent in just over year on a car.....

I dont think it was a stupid remark, I think it was highly intelligent. Seeing as you struggle to string a sentence together it was probably way beyond any slight wit that you may possess.

You go on about them at any oppertunity and what you fail to realise is everyone is bored with it. I know exactly where you're getting them from and what member you asked for all the info and then asked him to keep quiet!

When you finally get one and you can post pictues then you carry on, but until such times STFU!!
