To swap 172 cup wheels for normal ones

I have a Mk2 172 which I got as an ex demo but they had put the cup alloys on it. They left the regular spare in the boot which I looked at the other day.I think I prefer the standard alloys to the cup ones + I fancy a change. Also a 172 in the same color as mine parks down the road with the standard wheels on and I am deffinately tempted to change them.

So I have two options, either swap my cups (new tyres back, 5.6mm tread front) for someones standard 172 mk2 wheels

or Sell the cups and buy a set of MK2 alloys either from a dealler or second hand. Obviously I would get the new wheels first.

Also should I pur-chase a cliosport sticker for my rear window

Any thoughts.

Any thoughts

What colour is your 172 mate? I much prefer the Cups Speedlines but perhaps they would not suit something like a dark blue or black?? I am biased tho as Ive just bought the Cup alloys in white for my 182! ; )

Its icelandic grey (silver bluey colour). They do look very nice on it but i just fancied the normal ones. Either that or some oz hydras (but to poor to afford these)

Sticker- Yes, join at the same time and you get a sticker on the cheap. Size depends on personal opinion, ive got the smaller one and others have the large sticker.

Wheel wise, what condition are they in?

Id stick with the turinis but thats my opinion, i think theyr class rims!

The mk2 172 wheels are a bit plain

ill swap, if you dont mind some curbed standard wheels.

Yours are barely kerbed. They would be a very easy cheap repair to make them look good as new.

Ill swap, but id want to keep my own tyres (All brand new) and yours must be absolutely perfect.
