Tow eye on non sport (pics)

Thought i would see what a tow eye on a non sport would look like so ordered 1 off Si, Cnt decide weather i like it tbh, Maybe if its powdercoated in white, it might look abit better ? Whats your thoughts ? (not the best pics but u get the idea).

Thats all i could seem to screw, it was by hand though and tbh not much effort went into tightening it lol. Should it go all the way in ?

yes. on the 1*2s if you don't screw it in all the way it sticks out. but it looks ok how it is on yours.

it might just be a case of taking it out and cleaning the thread up a bit.

Yeh i thought that there might be alot of crap in there, so will give it a clean out.

Always been on the back of my mind but, couldnt any guy off the street just walk upto it unscrew it and run off ? If people rob dustcaps then a tow eye is a goldmine.

only to Clio owners and tbh you have to be a proper geek to steal a tow eye. lol. loctite maybe?

looks wrong on a car that isn't tracked or track looking or even fairly fast. sorry. just my opinion.
