Track geometry settings??

I meant looking at the wear on the tyre to see how much its rolling etc. I take your point that circuit racing is definitely different to sprint/ hill climb in terms of suspension setup etc (generally more damping for sprints) and how much you lean on the tyres.

Which is probably the point in hand that a few have pointed out already.. "Best setup" is individual and will depend on many things including

Venue
Tyres
Suspension type and settings
Ride height
Driving style
Circuit type
Etc

Exactly, although the setup quoted back in the thread is a pretty good "ball park" all rounder it seems. Maybe not toe out for some uses.

To answer your question on the rear beam, yes shims are the only option or a kerb sideways at speed lol. If you plan on spacing the wheels, kill two birds with one stone and get cambered axle spacers and shims for the alignment, go from your geo printout. You're looking for circa 3 deg on the rear of a circuit car and toe in or out depending if you like the rear coming out or not.

Just setting up the race car and I've set it to my old track settings then ill adjust from there.vwas quite an aggressive track set up for road car. Plus I have ast 2's with custom spring rates now so...

F camber 3
R camber 2
Neutral rear toe
10 mins toe in front
Caster 3


That's a pretty decent grippy neutral set up for me round tracks like brands, cadwell and lydden

Btw not my set up on race car. That's what I started with on road car and adjusted where I needed
