Traction control question, 172/182.....

  LY 200
Right maybe i should know the reason why but i dont so im gonna ask the question anyway!!! Lol

Why do people slate it on here??

I see somebody say the otherday, thank f**k you can turn it off on the 182.......I never have turned it but i would if i was given a valid reason to.

Whats the pros/cons please?

Cheers

Because its satusfying and enjoyable to use your right foot to find grip in a car with more power than grip (gear and conditions dependant).

In the same way that changing gear is more satisfying than letting a computer do it for you...

Leave it on for the road.
Turn it off for the track.
Simple. :) It's saved my sweet little ass on a couple of occassions!

Yeah.... ill never slate it. Saved my bacon a few times. Last time as I swerved for a damn pheasant last week at 80 in the wet with limited tread lol. Should really just run the f*cker down but that would have left a nice inprint on my car.

But its nice to have the option to turn it off when you can safely push the boundries out.. like on a track.
