Trophy (Large Amount Of Pictures)

Looks great Marc. How did you get the heater controls from the dash, the stage where you need to get it out of the recess and unclip the connections?

It was a pain in the arse to be honest, Once you have taken the radio out and undone the 2 screws its more or less trial and error. It was about like trying to put a square into a triangle with getting it out but once you have done it its easy. The connections are simple but its a little tight as they need to be unclipped before the unit can be taken out

Thanks for all the comments above.

Just had more work done to the car which is as follows but dont have any pictures of the work.

Replace all 4 injectors
Replace Bank 1 lambda sensor
Replace Rear caliper carriers
Replace Front discs
Replace Front pads
Replace Front calipers (Full units)
Full Brake fluid change
Replace front bottom ball joints
4 wheel alignment.

Great thread and very nice trophy mate, really like everything you've done, I'd love to own one but I'm only 18 so the insurance would be through the roof, my 1.2 clio will have to do for now :)

they look a lot better, but the rear bench is a gray leather, where as the fronts are black, i guess if you were really fussy u could sand them down a bit and dye/spray them black to match the fronts

This was a great read! Massive amount of respect for doing most of the work yourself. How do you find the AST top mounts for road use?

Great work Marc. How do the side skirts come off? Need any new parts to refit?

undo the t20 torx screw in the arch
drill the heads off the 5 rivets under the skirts
left the skirt upwards
knock out the the rivets left in

refit in reversal

you'll need at least 10 4mm rivets, its really easy

As the man above says buddy

AST Topmounts + Polybush Bottom Mounts + Polybush Dogbone + Sachs = Harsh , I feel every crack, leaf & pebble on the road but it handles bloody well
