Tumble dryer - Vented or Condenser?

Has anyone got a heat pump dryer + washer combo?

Always had seperate vented dryer but considering going down to one for space and cost savings.

Constantly use ours due to a 2 year old, are they as good?

They've only just started to become available, so not many options and they are not cheap.

Fair point. The vented is about 7-8 years old and still going strong, probably costs the earth to run though.

Don’t look at smart meter with vented dryer, heat pump will pay for itself in no time.

I’d steer clear of combi’s if you have a busy household tbh. It’s a godsend having separates at ours so we can throw a 2nd load of washing in whilst the first lot is being dried.
Or do what my wife does, have two combis so can be washing everything in the world 24/7.

(One came with the house, and we had one from the old so just bunged that in as well 😂)
