Tuning a 172 cup

Elf

Car  Clio 172 cup
How much of a Differnce do various mods make
Mine has a v6 box, 182 type exhaust , coil overs , strut braces and a some sort of remap from previous owner and runs rich - a lot of soot near the exhaust
Seems quick to me, and i have owned stock 172cup too
What other mods that are people on here doing

Your coilovers and strut brace would only improve handling. How much would depend on what setup you have. In regards to your V6 airbox your not looking at much at all and by 182 exhaust do you mean 182 exhaust manifold? This mod can see better gains with a remap but again it depends on what remap you have etc.

The common mods on here is either N/A mods such as matched inlets, upgradedd panel filter, exhaust system, decat, uprated cams and remaps. Not to mention the NEW JMS inlet setup they have developed. You can also look at ITB's for N/A.

Then you have the other option of forced induction such as Turbo charging or a supercharger.

Depends on what suspension it is. I very much doubt the strut braces are doing much at all.
