My dad used to have a Mk3 Golf VR6 and I remember that spinning the wheels when changing into 3rd on a motorway slip road when caning it. To have 2 of those engines in a car that is much lighter would be genius fun!

althought 1.8's would have been better for more hp, twin v6's is just pure braggin rights!

He probably considered 20v Turbos, but iirc, he had a VR6 lying around. He can rest assured no1 else with ever bother to copy him.
