At the weekend set tyre pressures to 31 front and 33 rear. Shortened the drop links on the whiteline as recommended by fred. The car just feels a bit weird and bouncy at high speed, and cornering at anything over 50 feels like the backend is going to come round.

Rear shocks fcuked?

What tyres? 33 is quite high, 28 and 30 for me on PE2's but could well be dying rear dampers.

My rear end went all wobbly after fitting sportlines and whiteline arb, it felt as if the car was trying to throw me sideways on rough surfaces. Figured it to be the dampers and ordered up a full set. Then, this w/e, when trying to sort out an alternator issue my dad noticed oil dripping from the rear end, one utterly knacked shock! 3 hours later and, although the camber and tracking are now out, the car feels 100% better and no more wobbly back end!
