Tyre Repair!!!

  NEED V6!
I've just noticed my rear side tyre has deflated so went this morning and pumped ity bk up to 32psi just chescked the tyre and it lost 12psi since this morning at 8am, had a look at the tyre and noticed the nail in the innerside wall logged in tight. Can a garage repair the tyre in anyway cause i'll need two new tyres if it can't be repaired and if not got £200 at present. I want to go to donningto on Saturday & sunday for the renault event.

most garages wudnt repair it as anything outside the central 3/4 is deemed unfit to repair! u can however get a vulcanised patch welded to the inside edge of it but its hard to find sum1 to do this and its still not 100% safe dude!

sidewalls are so important to the structure of the tyre. its not worth having a blowout on track or on the motorway at 90mph.

you only have to buy one tyre for the moment

buy a tyre, its not best to carry out a major repair (sidewall) on a car tyre and considering the cost of one not worth the risk
failing that if you really want it repairing the only places that'll consider it are commercial tyre companies and even they probably tell you the arent willing to do it

£50-100 for a new tyre or a shed load of £££ for a blow out on a high speed bend and you crash your car:cry: scrach you nice yellow paint work:eek:

think worst case;)
