This error message is due to the last batch of updates from M$ conflicting with a wide variety of software and drivers, nothing major, wouldn’t bother trying to source the conflict, wait for the re-patch

Speaking of which, I installed Ubuntu 7.04 yesterday, as a dual boot for my better half's dad at HIS request!

I'm impressed at how quickly Ubuntu is moving. I've got everything working on it, including the built in multiformat card reader, in fact I didn't even need to do anything, it just works.

What's even more impressive is that I used my spare 15" LCD to set it up and it's given me a refresh of 1280x1024 which is completely stable. Why am I impressed? The monitor doesn't support anything over 1024x768 lol
