Uneven tyre wear on rear

  Polo + Micra
checked my car earlier and noticed that the out side edges of the rear tyres are worn alot more than the inside.

what could it be? or is it because it is lowered???

not happy as it looks like it will be 4 tyres not 2:dapprove:

  4 wheels
my front 2 look a little worn down on the outside and mines not even lowered

even on solid axles lowering the car can f**k it up..

my brothers old mk3 astra on 17s lowered with apex springs made his tyres wear really unevenly. only lasted a few months i think.

took the apex lowering springs out and the problem went away.

yes you can get 4 wheel tracking
Nope you cannot the back is fixed.
The only adustment is the angle spacers Yozzasprot and Renault sport Cup racers use but you don't need them unless your into serious racing.

You may have bent the back axle bit as Frds done its somehting like £40 for the new part.

Yeah I didnt think the rears were adjustable either as theres nothing to adjust.
My old clios tyres were wearing slightly on the inside rear, I think four wheel alighnment is just the front two adjusted to be inline with the rear - not the otherway round or mixed.

4 wheel alighment just means the wheels are all aligned but since the back cannot be adjusted there just used as checking and setting up points.

yeah tyre pressures are fine

just a bit of a pisser as i was going to put the rears on the front when i get the fronts changed:dapprove:

Fred says its either fucked rear bearings or a bent rear stub

tyre pressures won't make any difference

"UNEVEN TYRE WEAR AND ITS CAUSES

Look at the tread on your tyre. Is it evenly worn right across its width? If not, it could be due to under-inflation or over-inflation, which we’ve already covered. However, if it’s worn only around one edge, particularly on the front tyres, it may be because of poor wheel alignment or other mechanical problems.
Have a professional garage check out your car’s wheel alignment and suspension; if there’s a problem with either of these you should have them fixed immediately."
