Unsatisfactory wheel refurb...

Mine came on the Cup and I thought it'd be a straightforward process. I was told that by using filler, the powder-coat wouldn't stick?

The only option it to re-face the wheel - I assume this involves skimming a few microns off the circumference of the wheel?

Filler does work if you re-furbing wheels not sure if powder coat sticks to filler, I would assume it's primed before powder coat goes on so shouldn't matter imo.

no primer is used with powdercoat

the pitting isn't deeep enough for normal filler to work, and yes powdercoat will stick to it, prolem is if the damage isn't deep enough the heat will blow the filler out
