Update on my 182

Well to cut along story short

My apex springs did my nut in.
The carbon bonnet was a bit extreme for me.
The Fk rear lights were an east way to make money.

So i took them all off and freshened up my car a tad. And think it looks alot better (apart from ride hieght)
But best of all it handles so much better and is alot more comfortable.

Agree wi the standard lights and bonnet, ride height needs tweaking though.

Good choice, Apex gives a good drop, but they are shittest springs to live with. Get some KTR/V-Maxx coils on there. Mucho better than Apex.

Why I never lowered my 172. Handles lovely as is for a fast road car imo.

yes its standard suspension now. The apex springs seemed to make it jump about especialy on corners. They were so hard when using sat nav the smallest pothole would knock it out of its cradle.

KTR coilys maybe a future plan as i do miss the lowness.

As for the bonnet i did a swap with samooose. suits his car soo much better

ideal yes ive been looking at them tooo. got to get new disk and pads and MOT before i think about getting any new bits

Yeah. 172 headlamps have a darker coloured plastic inside. Yours look like 172 units but I could be wrong. You're also missing the bumper stickers I think.

yes lol a few months after i bought it i noticed that the bumper was badly painted in places between the renault diamond and the bumper the paint has flaked off to reveal a Red bumper underneath.

So its been involved in a ding at some point

When i bought it came back HPI clear which i went on. Since been to a garage and they said its all mechanicly/structurly sound

Bit gutting tbh
