Update on my knocking noise.

As I have said in other threads the knocking my car makes seems to be impossible to find.

Its now started becoming louder and more frequent, this may (hopefully) help you guys diagnose it?

It now makes the loud clang/clunk sound when I go through a chicane (i know its not a race track, but easiest way to describe the corners) on the way home from work.


The car is traveling at around 100KPH, the chicane first sweeps right but its a fast open so you don't let off, as I turn the wheel to transition left, CLUNK as the weight shifts there's the noise.

What could this be?

Mabey you have a head in the boot than hits the sides when you turn! BAD BOY!

anti roll bar bushes? drop link bushes? or a damaged spring

Exhaust? Are all the mounts/hangers in good health?

I'm not sure, I am personally thinking anti roll bar. As it knocks on a sideways weight transfer.
