Hello,

My names Steve Kirk and Im the editor of Cars and Car Conversions
magazine. Im writing to ask for some help in a feature we are planning on
road car specials based on motorsport cars or teams. Wed love to include a
Clio Williams (1) in a test we are holding in the next couple of months, and
wondered if youd be able to help us find a suitable owner and a good
example of the car to attend the day, have the car photographed and driven
(not flat-out or in a hooligan style, simply for review purposes) for a big
colour feature in CCC.

The car would be insured by the magazine for the duration of the test and
would need to be available for a whole day during the week.

They are nice and chilled on RSC CCC are just looking for a car - and I have been on RSC for a year or so and dont know anyone with a Willy 1 so just helping the cause lol

Couldnt make york unfortunately, family problems !!

But rest assured as soon as that licence hits my door mat. Ill be hot footing it up to york. Just to see what times the Willy can make. Itll be the first time its been tested since the stage 2 work.

rang em last week, after id told them about the car and that it was most probably the fastest standard willy 1 in uk (that i know of) and that i could also bring along my willy2, the guy said it sounded promising....oh well wel jus av to wait n c hehe
