you can get all but the deepest scratches out if you give it enough time, then if you use some 4" pads on the bit itself that will more than likely get them out, remember the pc is safe so it works slower that an orbital

Yeah the 4 inch pads have given the pc a new lease of life in terms of scratch removal, very severe swirls would however benefit from a rotary, the other benefit of the rotary is that it does it much faster! SOme still do a pass with a pc afterwarsd though as rotarys are inclined to leave holograms in the paint
