V+ ESPN problem - need some info please

can everyone who has ESPN, and a V+ box try recording something on it please ?

instead of the programme name i get the words 'stand alone' and it then records EVERY prog on that channel until the V+ box is full

very annoying as i need to record UFC tonight at 3am !

I'll go give it a go just now. Does it have to be a set recording, or does it happen when you just hit the record button as well?

Oh, and is it just ESPN or ESPN HD as well?

ive been finding the UFC in the guide and pressing yellow

Working fine here, currently recording ESPN.

No it lists the prog name in the record list.

right ive just tried it a diff way and it seems be working

went into V+ -> Set new recording -> TV Guide -> Record button

that seems to work, fingers crossed !

id been on the channel before with the little pop up tv guide on the bottom, found it and i was pressing yellow to record series, it doesnt seem to like that but record button works fine

I tried the Series Record on the UFC and get the same 'stand alone' problem. It lists every prog on ESPN in the record list. Selecting to record only one prog in the TV Guide on ESPN works though.

Series record is not functioning correctly on ESPN.

There are apparently a few problems with series recording on the new channels. Will be sorted out soon I'd imagine.
