They offered me £8,750 !!! its only got 20k on the clock.

I checked out glasses and parkers and yeah its round 9-10k thats not good at all, what do you reakon??

Evo was about 18k it was a 55, to be honest I wasnt overly impressed by it either but never drove one so needed to check it out. I paid 16k for the v6, ive checked private sales and they seem to be going for around 15k so I dont think ive lost to much, I always knew I paid slightly over for it, but its a very good example

yeah have a word with the extreme guys they are s**t hot on evo's and they've had a couple of v6 clio's aswell i live just down the road from them and they now there s**t they would probly give you a good deal if you wanted to trade your v6 in

all makes have plummeted in value...so its not just v6's...

Tbh with that sort of trade in I would imagine they simply did not want the car.

From their point of view they may see it as a car that is just not going to sell and wouldn't want it just sat on the forecourt.

Bryan (Polesitter) had the same thing happen with Renault Bolton. 255 20K ish fsh they offered him 9K. It's a joke. Why do they think they can blatently rip people off!

I'm struggling to sell my 172...had plenty of "ooh thats a nice car" but no one stumping up for it. Not even for the £5,300 asking price which is about £500 less t han I should be able to get for it.

9k trade in and on the forecourt for 14995 at least.... daylight bloody robbery if you let them

I went to buy a 20k lotus 3 months ago and they couldn't do any more than 5k for my 05 182 in fantastic condition.... not going to bother selling as its not worth taking the hit..... apparently it would be hard to shift on the trade market?

One question for all those V6's for sale at 15 - 17k which there seems to be plenty (check PH) do they actually sell for that or even have offers near that?

(btw the lotus is still for sale....)

I chopped in my 350Z and got both clio's the guy skanked me slightly but justice is being served as he had the car on for far too much and when I check the site he keeps having to drop the price. I couldnt shift it on PH, plus at the time there was 159 for sale and none where selling. Looks like large engined cars are being pushed out the market. Maybe the manufacturers will make it uncool to drive bigger engined cars so they can start off loading their 1.4 twin turbos.....

Reminds me when twoking started effecting insurance and then they started bringing out the SI's
