valver/172 hybrid thingy. Nearly there....

Just towed it up to my mates to get wiring and plumbing done. Everything else is in.

Then its off for a repaint, new seats/harnesses, and got some new wheels for it too

Engine, gearbox, brakes, hubs, arms, driveshafts, ECU (decoded), rad, alternator is all 172.

Williams subframe with Williams steering rack converted by a proper rack company & is now manual.

Going to order some new williams coilovers as the valver ones are pisch.

I think thats about it mate.

Just a note about manual steering.

I was talking to a guy about removing the power steering on my Hybrid and they strongly advised against it, saying that if you start tank slapping at 80mph, a car with PAS will be a lot easier to control than a car without. The car without needing arms like incredible hulk to control it should it all go a bit wrong. Also with no PAS, the 'snatch' will be very violent, possibly breaking your thumbs! lol!

I'm no mechanic nor a driving guru, but just my 2p's worth.

For your info, i'm no Hulk and I can steer at 80!
