Valver 4th engine mount

i have heard that you can use a r19 16v gearbox mount on a williams to make the engine move about less, however that it wont fit to a valver as the subframes are different??
Anyone know how to get around this? ive heard about using a mount of a lesser r19, maybe a diesel or something??

the mounting holes are on the clio subframe

but is the subframe on the r19 16v the same size as the valver, as i have heard they dont fit?!?! :S

It fits fine, Nick Read had one fitted to his valver turbo.

Ill be fitting one to my turbo soon aswell

I believe the clio night & day edition mount fits the 16v subframe...

clio what?? lol never heard of it better start hunting scrappys is that like a 1.1 clio or summat? lol

Thats all you need, should stop alot of engine movement

Also do the dogbone mount trick... knock the rubber out of the mount, and turn it 90 degrees to what it was, certainly stiffens it up

Or just fill the voids with polyurethene sealant
