Valver - alarm, immobiliser etc

its on a 96 N reg

want to know basically which key does what, i have three i think, one in the glove box, one underneath the glovebox and one by the fuse box under the bonnet.

also what does the alarm protect against,

One under the bonnet it to turn the siren on / off
One under the glove box is for the alarm on / off
One in the glovebox is immobiliser on/off

thats been mentioned before youd have to do a search. My valver never had a button. - sorry!

did a search but couldnt find anything that said what it did, i dont think it does anything but was just a part renault used from the renault 19s.

That button does nowt in the Clio. It was something to do with mpg display or something in the Ren 19

i just noticed that i dont have an immobiliser switch in the glovebox but it definately has one, could this be a built in devise

The button on the end of the wiper stalk is used to manually code the immobiliser if you lose the plip, or the battery in the key fails.
