valver brakes question?

Car  clio 16v
I am gona change the front brake pads on valver tommorow. I've only
Ever changed brakes on Vauxhalls and the valver callipers look a bit different.
The question I have is this, is there any other part of the calliper which moves other than the piston? Does the bracket that the calliper bolts to move at all?

The only reason I ask is I took my wheel off today for a quik look and it looks as though when I remove the calliper itself that the bracket is gona be to close to the disc to fit the front pad in.

ok mebe that didnt make too much sense so I have stolen the picture fromm the 172 pad changing guide to try to illustrate my point ( the caliper looks almost the same)

The bit of the bracket I have highlighted in red looks to close to the disc to fit the new pad in. Is it supposed to move back and forward along the bits I have highlighted in yellow?

Any help much appreciated......
