Valver ECU Question

  Revels Mum & Sister

rite Have a Question

I have a Phase 1 Valver. It had a new engine fitted out of a Phase 2 N Reg Valver. At present is running fine from the phase 1 ECU and loom

I can get mu hands on a Chipped ECU from a Phase 2 Valver.

Will this run OK if I swap them straight over??

Any help would be Appreciated

Cheers

I think youll have to compare the numbers written on the case. theres two versions i think.

But if you can get it without paying anything, for a trail, just plug it in and if it doesnt work then youll know. wont harm the car.

Hope that helps a little. i buggered up mine soldering a chip in so i got another ecu, numbers matched and it was fine.

make sure its not off a late phase 2 valver as the ecu will be part of the immobiliser and it wouldnt work on your car.

yours hasnt got a gen immobiliser just central locking/alarm as standard by renault, but these are easy to disconnect as youve already done.an n reg valver may have an immobiliser i dont know any way of blanking the immobiliser code from the ecu so it can be used on other cars.
