yes its that one, and im already doing all that mate, it wont budge
its annoying me so much as i work for Motor World and in my 3 years working there ive yet to encounter an Astra stereo that doesnt just come straight out
I had the same problem with an Astra G recently, just had to get physical with it. Make sure the keys are going in on the correct side of the spring clips, then work round the outside edges on the sides of the unit with a small flat bladed screwdriver.
You cant push it from behind because its a full length cage, not just a short slip, and the connectors and antenna conection are all incorporated in the back..
yea, i can feel a small section underneath that feels like the cage is open, but i know about the rest being full, they have that screw/bolt at the back aswell which ill need to remove, but thats the easy part
how do you get the keys on the correct side of the spring clips, how do i make sure its going in right
thanks Brian, got it out in the end, i was using some cheapo removal keys, tried some Autoleads ones and although it was stuck a bit, it came out fairly easy
